MICRO GRAIN CARBIDE ENDMILLS 55HRC FLAT

These are solid carbide endmills made from ultra-fine or micro-grain carbide (grain size ~0.4-0.6 µm) and often coated with high-performance coatings like AlTiN or TiSiN for improved wear resistance. They are specifically rated to machine work-materials up to about 55 HRC (hardened steels, mold/ die steel, cast iron, stainless, etc.). Typical specifications include small diameters (e.g., 1 mm-3 mm), 2- or 4-flute configurations, helix angles ~35°, and coatings plus surface treatment to maximize tool life. Ideal for precision machining of hardened materials in mould & die, tool-making or hardened steel work, provided your machine has good spindle rigidity and minimal run-out.
